Coronavirus warning: 11 most common symptoms of COVID-19 infection – are you at risk? CORONAVIRUS symptoms may be very subtle, and could easily be missed.

But you could also be at risk of COVID-19 infection if you develop any of these 11 most common signs. Should you consider self-isolating with a cough, fever or loss of smell or taste?

Coronavirus is an infectious disease that has been confirmed in more than 14 million people across the world. You could be at risk of the virus if you develop any of these 11 common symptoms of the deadly infection.

The lockdown is slowly being eased, as shoppers are now allowed to explore the high-street, provided they remain socially-distanced.

You can also visit someone else’s garden, as long as there aren’t more than six people in the garden at once.

But the government has still advised the public to remain indoors as much as possible, in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus.

The 11 most common warning signs of coronavirus have now been revealed. Are you at risk?

A high fever and a new, continuous cough are two of the most common signs of the infection.

Some patients may also develop shortness of breath, or a new loss of taste or smell.

Other symptoms may appear similar to the flu, or a bad cold, but could also be caused by the virus.

They include fatigue, muscle aches, headaches, sore throat, congestion, nausea, and diarrhoea.

“Because some of the symptoms of flu and COVID-19 are similar, it may be hard to tell the difference between them based on symptoms alone, and testing may be needed to help confirm a diagnosis,” said the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.

“Symptoms may appear two to 14 days after exposure to the virus.

“People with these symptoms may have COVID-19: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhoea.”

But, the list isn’t completed, and scientists are revealing more information about coronavirus everyday.

You should self-isolate if you develop a fever, a cough, or a loss of taste or smell.

Self-isolating includes remaining at home for at least seven days if you live alone, or 14 days if you live with anybody else.
