Conspiracy theorists and followers of predictions are fascinated by the predictions of this 16th-century genius’s Nostradamus. People believed that the French mythic correctly predicted Adolf Hilter’s rise to power way back in 1933.
Also, in 1666, the Great Fire of London is also a prediction credited to the great 16th-century seer. With these, some are of the school of that that He predicted the pandemic, coronavirus.
Quatrains, a four-lined highly incredible cryptic poems is how the great 16th-century seer, Nostradamus wrote His prophecies. Most of the predictions were made public in 1555 in a publication titled “Nostradamus’ magnum opus, Les Propheties”.
The original famous book, quatrains, which is divided into chapters (centuries) and non-chronological, was published in old French. Though the predictions were in vague terms, Nostradamus predictions contained insight into the future. This was believed and is still believed by many.
1. The 1666 Great Fire of London
“The blood of the just will commit fault at London;
Burnt through lightning of twenty threes the six;
The ancient lady will fall from Her high place;
Several of the same sect will be killed”.
This was written by Nostradamus in His Quatrain 52, Century 2.
To conspiracy theorist, Nostradamus refer to the 1666 Great Fire of London. This fire happened after the prediction at exactly 100years. September 2, 1666 saw the outbreak of fire in the UK capital on Pudding Lane at a bakery.
2. 1933 Adolf Hilter rise to power
“Beasts ferocious from hunger will swim across rivers:
The greater part of the region will be against the Hister;
The great one will cause it to be dragged in an iron cage;
When the German child will observe nothing”.
Nostradamus’s Quatrain 24, Century 2 contained this prediction which referred to the rain of Hilter.
This was believed by theorist and philosophers across the world predicted Adolf Hilter rise and terror with the Nazis in Germany. He sent Europe in war in 1939 with His proclaimed power over Germany.
3. 1963 Assassination of President John F Kennedy.
“The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt;
The evil deed predicted by the bearer of a petition;
According to the prediction another falls at night;
Conflict Reims, London and pestilence in Tuscany”.
Contained in Nostradamus’ Quatrian 27 Century 1, “The great man” is thought as and referred to the US President J.F Kennedy. He was assassinated by Lee Harvey in Dallas, Texas in 1963 on November 22.
So, the question is, Did any of His Quatrain contain a prediction about coronavirus pandemic?
Conspiracy Theorist across the world are of the believe that the famous and great 16th-century seer, Nostradamus predicted coronavirus about 500 years ago.
Contained in Nostradamus Quatrain 6, Century 2 is a warning of plague. it reads
“Near the gates and within two cities;
There will be two scourges the like of which was never seen;
Famine within plague, people put out by steel;
Crying to the great immortal God for relied”.

On the other hand, not everyone shares the same school of thought. Some are of the school of thought that, Nostradamus could not have seen the future. This is what they believe.
